NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP/ THERAPEUTIC HORSE RIDING

We cater for the beginner and the experienced riders at Pelipa Ranch.

Our miniature horse "Spirit" who stand a full ninety (90) centimetres tall will assist with the toddlers and those who are afraid of horses to gain confidence around horses.

For the first time rider we will take the rider through all the basics regarding horses and lead the rider and horse for the initial period. We base our techniques and riding styles on natural horsemanship and this is carried through with all our interactions with the horses and riders.

We offer casual  horse rides of between thirty and fifty minutes, excluding the grooming and saddling of the horses, which we prefer the riders to perform themselves under our guidance and assistance where necessary.

The time spent with the horses ensures that the rider departs relaxed, calm and satisfied after the fantastic interaction between the horse and rider.

We also provide therapeutic horse riding for children with ADD and other problems to improve confidence and balance.
